Theory 1
I like the sentence that criticism is the main difference
between philosophy and other subject. Why people are more critical towards
philosophical problems then others is that practical range of philosophy is
incredibly broad. However, objects of theories in other subjects have explicit
limiters and they do not shoulder the responsibility to explain everything
happening in the world. As a result, when forming philosophy theory, people
should take facts as many as possible into consideration and self-critique
constantly to perfect philosophy theory.

Hi! When you refers that 'no definite answers can be known
to be true', do you think people cannot get close to reality? Actually I share the same viewpoint about
acquiring realities with you. To get reality people need firstly to perceive
what happens to them, then let the perception form reason and knowledge. By
gathering lots of reason and knowledge, people will get closer to the reality.
However, how can people check whether they get closer or farther to the
reality? It that based on human's thought? Consequently, should people know
world basing on idealistic theory?
Theory 2
Your post is very interesting, and I think time-bound is of
significance in theory. In my opinion, theories are more idealized than the facts.
Thus, when applying theory, specific reality of facts should be taken into
consideration, because the objects in fact are changing with time and space.
Ignoring of this change will become the weakness of theory.

You said that description is one part of explanation theory.
The difference between description and explanation is that the latter one
contains causality. I think description is not a way to form theory. Do you
think so? When searching theory as materials, one of the criterions is whether
and how much the causality is displayed in it. What do you think of it?
Theory 3
I agree with you. When reading the paper related to
emotional presence, I felt it did not give out enough causality between
phenomena and data and I think it is not a good theory according to the last
theme. Also I guess what you mean by 'we should avoid starting a qualitative
research question with the words, “Do,” “Does,” “Is,” or “Are” because they
motivate “yes/no” responses and so on' is that people should not use general
question but the one that can be answer some specific content. Do you think
every fact can be quantified or not?
After theory 3
I think highly of the opinion that 'the most important thing
in quantitative research is to make sure that the concepts are clear enough and
clearly to measure'. Researchers should refine variables in quantitative
research and analysis it by mathematical modeling or formula, or it should be
other research not the quantitative one. If the conception of quantitative
research is not fully understand, researchers cannot analysis it in right way
and the value of research will be depreciated.
Theory 4
Your research is interesting! According to your description,
the interviewees are all from Germany. I agree with you that the samples cannot
represent samples in the world range. However, I think the reason they just
choose sample in one country is that they need to lower the cost and increase
the efficiency. Do you have any suggestion about sampling in this research? Do
you know how to increase persuasion if you want to research a general question?
After theory 4
First I think there are some questions in your post.
1. I think you misunderstand a little about the qualitative
research question. It should not be opened but open-ended. Precisely, the
question should begin with 'what' or 'how' instead of general question for
example 'is' or 'does'.
2. It is the qualitative research question but not
qualitative research that should be structured, semi-structured or
unstructured. Actually, quantitative methods have some models to follow, but
qualitative method has no rules, only if people can explain the research
question completely.
Theory 5
Hi! Your theory is quite interesting. However, you did not
mention how the prototype (AMP) is evaluated. The evaluation is important to
check the validation and practicality of a new design and people can use
quantitative as well as qualitative method, sometimes more than one method to
do evaluation. By the way, you said that this design might have problems in
specific situation. I think other researchers can work on this design as other
theoretical background to do another design.

Hi! I enjoy reading your article very much, and I have the same feeling in Haibo's lecture. His way to evaluate theories surprising me. When designing something, we should take the customer's mentality into account. Customers are mostly reasons for the existence of specific product and can invent its constant development. Also market is the place that designs can find more support not only monetarily but also on technology, which created conditions for design to grow up.Hope you can enjoy my reflection comments!
